Renewing Alumni Bonds and Discussing Industry Development Trends

On the afternoon of September 3rd, the exchange event between the Suzhou University MBA Alumni Association and the Suzhou University Kunshan Alumni Association was held at Kunshan Soohow Instrument Technology Co., Ltd. Alumni gathered in Qiandeng Town, renewing alumni bonds and discussing industry development trends through on-site visits and in-depth discussions.

Seminars and Exchanges: Sharing Experiences and Exchanging Views

At the beginning of the event, alumni signed in one after another. Subsequently, the President of the Suzhou University Kunshan Alumni Association and the President of the Suzhou University MBA Alumni Association delivered speeches respectively, and introduced in detail the development overview and recent work of their respective alumni associations. During the free exchange session, alumni from different industries shared their experiences and exchanged viewpoints, creating a warm atmosphere.

On-Site Visit: Experiencing the Charm of Precision Technology

After the exchanges, the alumni visited the R&D center and production workshops of Soohow Instrument. As a 2006 alumnus of Soochow University and the General Manager of the company, Xu Rongwang warmly received the visiting alumni and led the tour personally. He introduced that since its establishment in 2012, Soohow Instrument has been dedicated to the R&D and manufacturing of precision spectroscopic analytical instruments such as direct-reading spectrometers and oil spectrometers, with products widely applied in fields including metal alloys, aerospace, and oil testing.

On the path of adhering to independent R&D, the enterprise continuously breaks through technological barriers and strives to break import dependence. The 3,000-square-meter R&D center and the 12,000-square-meter industrialization building intuitively demonstrate the resilience and confidence of an entity enterprise deeply cultivating the industry.

This visit not only deepened the emotional connection among alumni, but also promoted mutual learning of experiences across different industries. Against the backdrop of "Intelligent Manufacturing in China", the craftsmanship spirit of Soohow Instrument in focusing on core technologies left a deep impression on the alumni present, further inspiring everyone to move forward pragmatically in their respective fields.
